Reverend Damen Jensen-Heitmann

ASSOCIATE PASTOR 

Originally from Victor, Iowa — the haircut capital of the world, some say — Damen Wesley Jensen-Heitmann is a 2005 graduate of Wartburg College.

Melissa Davis

CHURCH OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Melissa is a Hastings native.  She joined the FPC staff in September 2022.   Prior to joining the FPC staff, She spent over 17 years working in the Human Services field.  She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business degree from Bellevue University in January 2023. 

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys participating in the Heirs Apparent class on Sunday mornings and also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Little Man.

Rose Koepp

Director of Education for Children & Youth

Rose Koepp became the Director of Education for Children & Youth at First Presbyterian Church October, 2021.

Deb Hamburger

BOOK-KEEPER

Deb Hamburger joined the staff at FPC in June of 2018. She brings with her a wealth of information in keeping the books in tip-top shape having served in this same capacity in several area churches as well as the family business.

Byron Jensen, Interim Director of Bell Choirs, is a professor of music at Hastings College where he teaches courses in music history, education, coordinates the strings studio, and conducts the HC Bell Choir.

Sue Medsker

LIBRARIAN (Volunteer)

Sue Medsker has been a member of First Presbyterian Church since October 1990.  She has been the church librarian since the early 1990s, has been active in PW, Chancel Bell choir and Chancel Choir and helps lead the Celebrate Service.
