Adult Sunday School
Two on-going adult Sunday School classes are available: Heirs Apparent and The Forum.
Heirs Apparent Class
“The Forum” features a wide variety of topics and presenters. The group makeup varies widely from week to week, and newcomers are always welcome to check it out! Each Sunday’s class is self-contained, so participants can pick and choose from the class selections, the collection of which provide a balanced offering of topics that are action-oriented, Bible-focused, contemplative, and/or discussion-rich.
Use buttons to the right to access video of past Forum classes (blue buttons for 2019-2020 classes and green buttons for 2018-19 classes).
Weekday Bible Studies
Tuesday Noon Bible Study
Each Tuesday at noon, a group gathers to study the scripture passages to be used in the following Sunday’s worship service. Meeting weekly in the Anderson Conference Room, this group provides an excellent opportunity to enhance one’s experience of Sunday services. Led by Pastor Greg.
[email protected] is a welcoming group currently (through 2018 fall semester) studying and discussing a book entitled Days of Awe and Wonder, an anthology of speeches by the late theologian Marcus Borg. Meeting on Wednesday mornings at 7:00 a.m. in the Parlor, the group participants take turns providing breakfast, creating an atmosphere of hospitality conducive to spiritual/intellectual growth.
Other Adult Opportunities
Lunch, fellowship, learning, and fun! Join the Soup Group every 1st and 3rd Thursday, noon-1:00, in the Library. All women gather on the first Wednesday of each month at 11:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall for lunch and program. On the third Wednesday of each month, small groups (“circles”) meet for Bible study.
