Dear Presbyterian Church Family:

To continue on the theme of yesterday’s communication. I would like us to think of how Jesus’ friends and family must have grieved after his death. They had no idea of the joy that was to come. With the health concerns, and yes, fear from the COVID-19 virus going on today, it is difficult some days to remember that, as Christians, our hope lies in the saving death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We know how this story ends!

Tomorrow morning we get to imagine the joy the women felt when they discovered the tomb was empty and the angel appeared to them.

We too can feel this same joy as we anticipate the celebration of Easter tomorrow. Join us virtually for our “Stay-at-Home” Easter Worship Service tomorrow morning at 10:25am via Facebook or on the radio. The Cathedral Brass will be in the Sanctuary along with Linda Vollweiler on the organ, Erik Nielson running the technical portion, Pastor Damen, and myself. The link to watch the service is here: https://www.facebook.com/fpchastings/posts/3276174552403866

And here is a link to the bulletin:

We invite you to share this email with your family and friends and invite them to “join” you to celebrate Christ’s resurrection tomorrow complete with the classic hymns you love and a message of hope!

“See” you tomorrow!

Your servant in Christ,

Pastor Greg
