Hastings resident, Charles H. “Chuck” Kidd, Jr., 72, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services were Saturday, November 25, 2017; 10:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church, Hastings with Rev. Greg Allen-Pickett officiating.  Burial was in Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw.  Lunch was provided at First Presbyterian Church in Fellowship Hall.  Memorials may be given to Hastings Bowling Association or Special Olympics.  

Chuck was born July 28, 1945 and was adopted by Charles H. Kidd, Sr. & Dorothy M. (Ramsey) Kidd.  He served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War.  Chuck was a resident of Hastings for 20 years.   

Chuck was a farmer and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Hastings and First Presbyterian Church in Kenesaw.  He was a youth bowling coach, Special Olympics coach, and Hastings High School girls bowling coach.  Chuck was a member of the Hastings Bowling Association and Hall of Fame.  He was involved in the youth programs at the YMCA.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents.
