SUNDAY 4/26 RECAP: We had another glorious day of worship last Sunday. We celebrated our graduating high school seniors and some of them helped lead worship through pre-recorded videos. The Canady family provided music leadership including a beautiful anthem and a solo by Don Canady, along with our amazing organist Linda. And Pastor Damen preached a meaningful sermon on Luke 24, the disciples on the road to Emmaus. MONDAY CHECK-IN: Pastor Damen and I recorded our weekly Monday Check-In broadcast. It includes announcements, prayer, and a Bible study chat based on the scripture we will preach on Sunday: Acts 2:42-47. You can listen to it like a radio broadcast or download it as a podcast by clicking here: https://soundcloud.com/damen-heitmann/042720-monday-check-in If you prefer to see our smiling faces, you can watch the broadcast on YouTube by clicking here: https://youtu.be/YfXAeQ7XuHc
SUNDAY 5/3 PARKING LOT CHURCH & COMMUNION: Following the positive feedback from our Palm Sunday Service, we are inviting church members to drive to our church parking lot on Sunday 5/3 and listen to the service over their car radios while sitting in the church and PEACE Center parking lot. We will hand out communion packs from 10am-10:25am under the portico entryway to the sanctuary, or you can bring your own communion elements with you. It is going to be vitally important that no one get out of their vehicles, the church will be locked, so you won’t be able to come in. This will provide us an opportunity to safely get out of our houses, see each other from the safety of our cars, and partake communion. If you are not able to come in your car, you can take communion at home. If you would like for the church to deliver communion elements to you this week, please reply to this email and let us know. Stay tuned for more details!
Have a blessed week!
Your Servant in Christ,
Pastor Greg
