Dear First Presbyterian Church Family,

What a difference a week makes, last week we were seeing temperatures in the 70s, and this week we are in the 30s! As a result, our in-person Worship in the Park services are over for the season. It was a great run with 13 glorious in-person worship services since mid-July. Thanks again to the Schukei family for their support of that service!

This Sunday, we will have Stay-at-Home worship at 10:30am. You can watch it on Facebook Live by clicking here: https://www.facebook.com/fpchastings/posts/3850651268289522 (you don’t need a Facebook account to watch.) You can also listen live on the radio on KICS 1550 AM. If you miss the live broadcast, you can watch the service during the week on Channel 181 on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. and Sundays at 9:00 a.m.

You can also watch archives of any of our services by clicking here: https://www.facebook.com/fpchastings/videos and as always, A copy of any Sunday service is available on DVD disc upon request at no charge. Contact Jean in the office at 402-462-5147 or jean@fpchastings.org.

Finally, don’t forget to prayerfully consider how God is calling you to support the work of First Presbyterian Church of Hastings in 2021.

We ask that you return the pledge cards and the Time and Talent sheets to the church by Sunday, October 25. That will be the last Sunday of our stewardship campaign, and we will say a prayer of blessing over the pledges as we prepare the budget for 2021.

It is vitally important that we receive your pledge cards so that we can build our church’s budget for the coming year. Click Here to Open a Copy of the Pledge Card  (Or you can use this link  https://fpchastings.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/2021-Pledge-Card-Mailpoet_1.pdf  )

Thank you for your steadfast support of First Presbyterian Church of Hastings. May the stewardship campaign this year give you a chance to reflect on all the ways that God has been at work through the church over the last year, and may our pledges be a symbol of faith and hope that God is still at work in our church, even in these challenging times.

Your Servant in Christ,

Pastor Greg
