Dear Presbyterian Church Family,
As you may, or may not know, we were planning to celebrate Trinity Sunday this weekend, April 30th, outside in Alexander Park. However, the weather forecast shows a 70-80% chance of rain on Sunday morning with a temperature of 54o at 10:00 a.m.
I know how much everyone enjoys worship in the park, but we decided to move the service indoors this Sunday where we won’t get wet from the rain and be more comfortable temperature wise! (Not to worry though, we will have more opportunities to be in the park as the weather warms and cooperates.)
In addition to Celebrating Trinity Sunday…
- We will be commissioning the Vacation Bible School volunteers for all their work in preparing for a successful VBS next week.
- We will also be commissioning the Go & Serve Mission team who will begin their travels next week to minister at Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Mississippi.
We will celebrate Trinity Sunday this weekend at 10:30 In-Person in the Sanctuary and Stay-At-Home as usual in the following ways:
- live on Facebook at facebook.com/fpchastings (You don’t need to have an account to watch.)
- on the radio during Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. simulcast on KICS 1550AM and 92.7FM
- on Channel 181 Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. and Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
- at Good Samaritan Village, the service will be broadcast on Channel 3 on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
- 10:30 a.m. at College View live on Facebook in the small theatre room; residents and their families are welcome
Hope to “see” you all there!
Your servant in Christ,
Pastor Greg
