WORSHIP IN THE PARK: We continue to work hard to help our church family feel connected in this strange time. We have added a “Worship in the Park” service every Sunday morning at 9am in Alexander Park to help with this, so if you are around, come join us! (Bring your own chair and facemask). In addition, below are some links that might help us feel a sense of connection as a family of faith:
FPC CHANCEL CHOIR VIDEO: Our Chancel Choir did a virtual choir video! This is where members of the choir submitted videos of them singing and then we edited them together. We shared this at worship on Sunday, but I wanted you all to be able to watch it again, and perhaps even share it with others. Enjoy: https://youtu.be/JcDKx8D4YPs
BIBLE STUDY CHATS: Did you know that Pastor Damen and I do a short, informal, bible study chat every week that you can listen to? We call it the “Monday Check-in” and we share some announcements, offer a prayer, and discuss the bible text that will be preached on the following week. You can either listen to it like a radio broadcast or download it like a podcast, or you can watch it on YouTube. Here’s the broadcast/podcast link for this week: https://soundcloud.com/damen-heitmann/081020-monday-check-in And here’s the YouTube link for this week: https://youtu.be/XPcq9aSxIy4
We have saved all of these chats and have an archive of 18 of them. You can listen to them all by clicking here: https://soundcloud.com/damen-heitmann/sets/monday-check-in Or you can watch them all on YouTube by clicking here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrDhGgyNVayw0xXR4NvbjrLXeMyPSOsBG
SUNDAY WORSHIP LINK: We had another GLORIOUS day of worship on Sunday. Our music was led by our amazing organist, Linda. The Kingsley sisters provided hymn leadership. The Welsch family children provided special music. Byron Jensen shared the song “Fire and Rain” by James Taylor as part of the Summer Sermon Song Series. And we had a guest preacher share about prison ministry, James Taylor, and Psalm 23. It was pretty spectacular! If you missed service or just want to watch it again, you can click on the link below:

I hope you have a great week and can find a way to stay connected to your family of faith in this time. Don’t hesitate to reach out to the church office if there is anything you need or you have any prayer requests.
Your Servant in Christ,
Pastor Greg
